on the inspiration piece you talk about it being out of proportion but capturing the stance.
i completely agree! there is so much power and bulk built up in the hips that make the figure seem very womanly, almost Venus of Willendorf.
and normally i find drips to be cliche.. a fallback move, but the way you have used them here is fresh! i love how they complete the shapes and the forms in the legs.
